Learn the fundamentals of trampolining then move to intermediate skills and create simple routines. (Fast track and pit trampoline will also be used when available.)

After a fun warm-up game and stretch, beginners will get to try a variety of aerial apparatus including tissu, static trapeze (solo and doubles), cloudswing and aerial hoop, with a focus on aerial awareness, coordination, building strength and mastering basic skills.

Practise and develop your aerial skills on static trapeze, static cloudswing, rope, aerial hoop & tissu. Improve strength, coordination and aerial awareness. At least two terms of similar training is essential.

Wednesday 5:15pm - 7:15pm

Classes suitable for:
Intermediate     Advanced    

Increase your acrobatic skills in this course covering the fundamentals of tumbling, handstands and acrobalance. Activities include tumbling drills, mini-trampoline, handstands, core strength, flexibility training and more. Students need to have completed at least one year of circus or gymnastic classes before enrolling in this class.

Thursday 5.30pm - 8.00pm

This course for teens is designed to extend the skills of your circus, gymnastic, sport or dance experience in preparation for audition into the Certificate 3 or 4 programs or to achieve higher levels of self-development for general strength and fitness, acrobatic and performance ability.

Focusing on performance ability, ensemble work, acrobatics, flexibility training and strength building this program aims to facilitate a significant improvement in participants' skills, techniques, strength and flexibility which are the foundations of any circus apparatus or skills they may choose to train in the future. Juggling, manipulation and partner/group work will also be covered. These sessions will not include the development of skills on solo specialty apparatus but may include drills and exercises on apparatus such as trapeze and tissu /rope for strength and conditioning purposes. We recommend that participants continue their training of individual specialty skills to complement their accelerated training.

Tuesday 5.30pm - 8.00pm

This teen accelerated program runs across two nights every week for two and a half hours both nights, inclusive of both the Teen Accelerated Circus Class (Tuesday 5.30pm-8pm) and the Teen Tumbling and Acrobatics Class (Thursday 5.30pm-8pm).

A discount of 10% is applied to fees when purchasing both classes together.
